Child Health Nursing is a specialty which focus on nursing care of children, both normal and sick. The department provides student-centered teaching and learning in conducive atmosphere that helps the students to gain confidence in their nursing knowledge and skills related to child care.
The aim is to prepare students to identify the normal growth and development of children and deviation from the normal.
Excellent training helps to gain knowledge and skills on health care needs of infants and children in a variety of settings. Students get the opportunity to identify the needs of children and provide comprehensive care integrating evidence-based practice and research. Child Health Nursing department enable the student to function as nursing educator, nursing manager, nursing practitioners and researcher in the field of Pediatric Nursing.
